Until the time in the not forseeable future, when a simple ( yes, and curteous) 'heads-up' will precede all such delays and give us some information as to what to expect, managers must prepare to be blindsided.

Drafts will not be held on schedule.
Games will not be played on schedule.
There will be no notification when this happens.

That is the schedule.
Familiarize yourself with it, and play accodingly.
