In the manual it states ( again, I paraphrase) "a reliever who has not started a game can be used as astarter but will be SEVERELY DOWNGRADED (caps mine) by the game. This should only be used in an emergency situation."
First: severely downgraded. Would anyone out there with a reliever owning a 3.9 ERA, a 6.9 Grade, and a 5.6 Clutch rating, call a 7 inning starting stint allowing 2 ER, "severerly downgraded."
Secondarily: this happened ( I am assuming because all the leagues are playing games now, willy, nilly) while the robot is busy playing the games. If so, why was a reliever chosen to start when the team had 2 other starting pitchers fully available?
