My personal opinion is that in making trades with the top teams, the top teams should give up extra value to make the trade. The top teams have the talent and depth to trade for a key 1-2 players. When I have a top team, I always try to make sure I overpay in trades. It helps parity. Sure, it hurts to give up extra value, but I think the weak teams need to insist on it. Not just an equal trade, but for the weak team to come out ahead (even if only slightly so). I can't stand it to see the strong teams bilk the weak. Sometimes it makes one wonder about collusion. Just my thoughts.
