I have taken some shots for approving this deal, but at the time I felt that there was enough young talent to justify the deal. In Real Time, an old player is one year older and a young player is one year closer to producing than in TRAD leagues---one must not look at this deal form a traditional SIM-ball point of view. I agree that chances are that Biggio and Clemens will continue to be great, but Barrett and Dreifort are two of the most talented young players in baseball and their time could be coming soon.
