Anybody else see Pudge as a natural fit for the Mets. They now are slated to be strong up the middle defensively with the notable exception of behind the dish. Wouldn't signing Pudge give Piazza the nudge to move to first base? Wouldn't that give them a boost both in the Field and at bat? Could he really still argue that the doesn't hurt them defensively when Pudge is the alternative
