Bill had it right in the earlier post. I have re- read the information I send in bulletins and post in the Manual and I find it to be very much akin to Bill's explanation. I'm sorry if its a bit murky---the main reason for the confusion is that we require you to release player(s) to have room to draft, rather than letting you draft and then cut like the spring FA draft. The reason for that is that we would have numerous teams having to be cut to 35 by the commissioner on the very next day (Thursday).
