I know where Mike and Tim are coming from in their posts about this league being a contraction candidate. I agree if we can't get some more teams owned this offseason. BUT...some ownders do like the challenge of rebuilding and the unowned teams in the league do have some potential.
I would like to ask two questions:
1. Could there be an incentive to draw owners to failing leagues like this?
2. I know at least a couple of guys who might like to play the game. Mike, or someone else in the know, can a new owner get started now, absent Launch Leagues? The old rule was that you had to get into a Launch League and play a certain number of games before you could apply for a Trad or RT team. Could we have some sort of sponsorship program where existing owners could train novices who want to get into the game by letting them help play a certain number of games?
We do need new blood, and the product is worth it, at least to me.
