Until then, this is the system we have(and still might have, who knows what programing is required). It rewards SS, CF, C, etc, as well as players with lots of at bats and good defense. It punishes part time players. Its not perfect, and neither will the system I'll propose, buts its what we got.

Any cap system isn't perfect, including the NBA, NFL, MLB, etc. Those teams get stuck with a cap value that doesn't vary with performance, so if someone stinks it up, they are still stuck with his cap hit.
