You have to figure that if NO ONE will give you a #2FA for the guy you like so well, maybe you aren't being "shafted" by the #3 or #4 offer.

In fairness, I have to say though that I'd do the same as you describe.

Still, you are hurting yourself by not getting "something" (a #4FA?) for someone you are going to cut. I'm suggesting the same attitude - hurt yourself a little before you help your opponent a lot.
