I think the LL's are fine as they are. I think the intent of the LLs is to show the basics of the game (playing, trading, etc) to new owners at minimal overhead to the PB staff. The LLs also provide a short-season 'break' to perpetual owners who just want a fun league without thinking about next year. Making a LL longer would add overhead and cost (probably passed on the perpetual owners). That is not what the LLs are for.

IMO, the staff at PB wants to attract new owners by giving them a free glimpse of the game. Perpetual owners are their primary priority (the 'paying' customer as it were), and they would not want to detract from that support (always excellent, in my opinion) in any way.

Just an opinion, and not meant to speak for anyone at PB.
