...people play differently. You nominated the robot as your team MVP for doing such as good job with a team you ostensibly abandoned. Some managers do what you refer to as sweating the small stuff. It leads to frustration, yes. But it is how they/I play the game. An admonition for trying hard makes no sense to me.
