I offered:

a 37 year old starter with 5.9/5.6 ratings, 220 IP. Has been a good starter for awhile and has actually pitched better the last few years then ever before. plus a FA 4/FA 8 upgrade for

a 32 year old with 68 IP and 8.7/6.1 ratings in his first real MLB season and a 29 year old with 6.3/6.9 in 77 IP. Neither guy is a star, both coming to the majors late in life as middle relievers and having no track record of continued success.

Is this offer out of line ? I was very surprised to be told it was. I'd love to get other opinions. Thanks.
