APBA, Diamond Mind, Scoresheet, & Stratomatic are 4 prominate games. APBA and Diamond Mind don't have centralized gaming like we do, and leagues are no where close to what we have here.

Scoresheet and Stratomatic have some nice leagues, but unfortunatley don't allow you to play home games. Yes, you heard me right, no home games.

So what do you do if you aren't happy here, but realize this is the best game in town.

Five things.

1) Make suggestions on this board on how the game can be better, within the limitations of the existing staff. This way if everyone agrees with you and would like to see the change, then there is a chance that change will be made.

2) Email Mike with changes you would like to see, as well as your general unhappiness and why, but be professional.

3) Bring more players to the league. The stronger the league, the better chance that changes that you want will happen.

4) Fight the important battles. If you are unhappy with 3-4 aspects of the game, choose what bothers you the most, and try and get that improved. Ignore the others for later.

5) If nothing seems to work, try going a couple weeks without the game, you will start to go stir crazy, and begin wondering what the problem was in the first place :-)

If you love this hobby, doing whatever we can to make things flourish will only make this hobby even better.

I played APBA, switched to CSN, and moved to PB, and I've personally seen improvement and felt more enjoyment with each change. I have no stake in this game except for it being the hobby that I love to do.
