Player B - 27 year old starting 2B

Posted By Tim A.

Again we'll start anonymous and put a name with him later.

Player B is 27 years old, coming off an injury, and plays 2B. He's been a starter at 2B for about two years and is assumed to be the frontrunner for the starting 2B job on his team in 2004.

Player B's major league stats

Year - Age - AB - OPS

1998 - 22 - 7 - .000
1999 - 23 - 175 - .740
2000 - 24 - 180 - .720
2001 - 25 - 532 - .649
2002 - 26 - 426 - .705
2003 - 27 - 218 - .725

I don't know an easy way to look at defense for past years.... but for 2003 this guy has a 4.7 ODR.

As I said the guy is assumed to be a starting 2B in 2004.

Again, two questions?

(1) What do you think about this guy?

(2) What type of pick would someone like this be worth?
