Same caveats - value differs a lot for TRAD vs RT, in this example much higher in TRAD because you get one known great year.

Still you cannot project future just by looking at past stats. Suppose for example, that this guy was known as a supieror athelete, with good range and a great arm, but had failed with a number of previous bad teams because of holes in his swing and poor plate discipline. Maybe, for example, he started this year very well on a very bad team - but then he was traded to a contender and eventual playoff team in the other league - and continued to play well for that new team. Now he's a great athelete just entering his prime years with one great year to show. But if I looked more closely at his stats and saw, for example, that he managed to hit .311 while taking only 24 walks vs 95 Ks, I would fear he got lucky. I would be trying to trade the guy, seriously shopping him for as much as I could get. If I could do no better than the mystery 2B above, and the needs fit my team, I would swap the two even. (In RT.)
