When I started playing this sim last year I too had questions about the play results as described by the play by play dialogue. I saw plays that were completely impossible to happen happen and ask Mike Bravard about it. He said , in effect, that the game results are accurate but the play by play dialogue sometimes has no bearing on what really happened. This may be why there seem to be so many opposite field homers. As to trying to recreate what happened in a game from the box score, it would be impossible as the box scores are not always accurate. Hopefully the much anticipated upgrade will sove some of these problems.
