....there is some pre-determined guideline to determine the order that rookies/FA's will be taken. This is written not to impugn anyones integrity, on trhe contrary. It is to place the 'designated picker' beyongd reproach. Say the ocasion arises when the next person in line for a pick is also the person picking for the unmanaged team. Two players are available, both of equal value, one a pitcher one an outfielder. The umanaged team is awarded an outfielder. YOu know the nest day, someone is going to be saying the order was determined because of the needs of the second tam, and that something happened that was 'cheating. In an effort to stay beyiond reproach, a basic giuideline should be established.
