I punted right on first down. My team will be pitiful this year, lucky to win 30-40 games. Next year however, I will start to contend for what will hopefully be years.
There were a number of teams who were upset about my approach, but that's life. If we alled fished from the same spot in the pond, everyone going for this year would've gotten less. This way I got what I wanted and everyone else had one less team crowding them out for the "now" players.
