Why would you play such a stupid Game?

I designed the game and yes there are flaws but they are almost always "result" driven.
In other words the results do not always match the statisitical outcomes of the game.
The relief pitching setting is backward but the others are correct.
I can not remember a runner getting picked off at 1b when not holding on in PB but many firstbasemen hound the runner while playing halfway back in MLB and it could happen.

But if you truly do not think strategies like playing the lines or holding on actually work---I am at a loss as to why you would bother with this game...
