PB value has NOTHING to do with how the SIM plays. It is a guide we developped as an afterthought for various reasons. It has never been updated or improved as a valuation system and has obvious limitaitons as well documented by many PB managers in this space.

The fact that PB value has such limitations is why its so frustrating that Cap limits are based on it. I'd venture to guess that based on quirks of the PB value algorithm you could see a variation for a team of +/- 5 points of what the actual team value is. 10 points (if you compare outliers) is a significant swing.
