Crock?
It always facinates me how little normally very intelligent baseball fans know about statistical simulation.
If you could be guaranteed results over a short period---say 8 games---(actually 1000 games could give you a feel for it) why would anyone ever play?
In the C-2 perpetual league a couple of years ago when we were testing the game the Memorial team was 10-20 in the test exhibition series. Once the real games started, the same team with the same rsoter won 95 games and went on to be league champions---that's what can happen with a multi-faceted simulation---you never know.
But that's why we have free lauch leagues---to seperate the players from the non-players.
