There are no top 10 pitchers, they change every year. You get 3-4 pitchers that might have 4-5 great years in a row, but thats it. A couple years ago many thought Pedro was done for due to an injury, thankfully he rehabbed. Maddux and Johnson were the men, well not anymore.
Look at Rolen, Delgado, Arod, Jeter, Vidro, Helton, Bonds, Ramirez, (just to name a couple), they are good every year, for 10 years. If you can find a 2B, SS, 3B, or C that will be good for 10 years, he's better than a great pitcher.
The key is pitchers get injured 3 times as much as hitters, and don't recover as well as hitters.
