I'd trade a top starter to get A-rod straight up. Most of the time, ARod is not available, so a lesser mortal becomes a more difficult trade.
Javier Vazquez is about as good a young starter that is a true ace. Pedro is tops. Schilling is not top due to his low IP in 2003. Definitely seems that pitching is overpriced in PB though.
