You are right Tim in that people look at the same deal in different light. I think you made out very well in receiving Roger Clemens, Rafael Palmeiro, David Riske and RD7 FA for Erubiel Durazo, Ramon Castro, Chris George, Peter Munro, Ray Durham and RD5 FA. I see Roger will be a big part of your rotation, Palmeiro will start at 1B and be a big upgrade defensively and offensively and Riske will give you lots of quality relief. These players will give you much better production (as a group) for the upcoming PB season than the ones you traded away and I'll even bet they do better as a group in this coming MLB season so that's 2 years of production from now. Five years from now, who knows if ANY of the players mentioned here will be productive or even playing anymore from either side.
