My 2 cents on Escobar Mora
The thing noone mentions who doesn't like Escobar should be aware his second half numbers were better than his 1st half. I also believe he has a world of potential. Somtimes potential does not pan out but a lot of times it eventually does. Anaheim seems very high on Escobar this spring so possibly this could be his year to break out. If I remember Mora's year last season he had a phenomonal 1st 2 months and then started to tail off right before the all-star break and as already shown in another post he crashed and burned 2nd half. The thing is he had never put up numbers anything close to that in the past and more than likely never will again. I'll always take if I'm rebuilding a guy with a ton of ability like Escobar over a 1 year wonder and so will most people unless you wanted to win this year. That's why I had to throw in a very good relief pitcher like Qunatril who is 36. Those were my reasons behind the trades and I think the player with the rookie 2 Tim got could turn into a very nice player but I'm banking sometime in the next year or 2 Escobar will turn into the pitcher he should be with the talent he has.
