If there are 15 second basemen that are better than Durham I'd like to know who they are... I can only think of about a half dozen that are SIGNIFICANTLY better.... and maybe another half dozen or so that are in the same neighborhood of what I perceive Durham's value to be.

Also.... If Mike had pushed for a rookie #1 in addition to everything else I gave up there would have been no deal. I was willing to make some reasonable sacrifices to help my team this year. But to expect me to get raped in the deal is going over the top.

Frankly, of the many managerless trades I saw this off-season I believe my trade in 99Trad2 helped the managerless team more than many other trades did.

I was specifically annoyed when Pedro was traded for Renteria.
