I rejected Livan Hernandez and #5 FA for Lawrence and #1 FA for these two reaasons:

1. Livan Hernandez 2003 stats were very good and this is a TRAD league. Nowhere in the discussions below does anyone mention the value of his current stats which will be in force for the next 160 PB games!

2. Lawrence has never been able to get below .800 or so OPS versus LHB. This has doomed him to mediocrity in PB where most teams can field a good platoon lineup. This spring his ERA is over 10 and the smart money is dumping him or at least getting off the bandwagon.
