For the first time ever we have a trading period between the announcement of the FA draft order and the draft itself. The good side of this is the opportunity to make deals with more certainty about the value of the picks. The down side is the weeks delay.
Bottom line is if managers are active in talking and making trades for the next 8 days then this is a good thing. If there is little or no trading activity this week then we might see some of the cabin-fever snippiness on the discussion forum that we saw in previous lulls. Either way we should track the activity and adjust next years schedule accordingly.
