I'm bad, I change them every year in traditional, never change in real time.
You are limited based on what is available, plus many of the parks don't very in their numbers that dramatically. It should be noted that a park change might only net you a 5-10% change usually. Most of the time you might have a 101-98-105 park(Ave, LH, RH) , and you switch to a 102-115-105 park.
Every park changes anyways every year, sometimes dramatically. Look at Detroit, Colorado, Expos, Anaheim, etc. Those are just off the top of my head.
I like the extra strategic thought process in choosing a home park. Do you take a park that helps 5 of your lefties, but hurts Arod and Rolen? Chose a low HR park to help your pitchers, but screw your hitters at the same time. Part of the enjoyment of traditional is switching parks.
Reminds me of Colorado keeping balls in humidors, K.C. and Detroit moving their fences, etc.
