Loaiza is worth the picks to me and I certainly wasn't going to get him with any of the picks I had. My questions concerning the Moyer, Johnson deal have nothing to do with my attempt to get Loaiza. My questions concerning that deal were focused entirely on the premise that I didn't think that the 2nd overall pick in the FA draft was worth Moyer and Johnson. Obviously, I am in the minority in that belief, however, after reading the many posts but I'm still not convinced. I still think that a contender should have had to give up more than that pick to get Moyer and Johnson. I'm sure that I wouldn't have been as surprised about it hadn't I made an attempt to get Moyer myself and was dangling the 3rd pick overall in the FA draft for Moyer alone without even a response.
