Bullpen setup advice.

Here are some basics on the way I assign my relievers.

Lets say your pitchers are A, B, C, D, & E with "A" the best, on down to "E", the worst.

I'd set up the staff as follows:

3 good relievers - No closer, "A" and "C" short, "B" middle

4 good relievers - No closer, "A" and "C" short, "B" and "D" middle.

1 great reliever, 3 good relievers - "A" closer, "B" and "D" short, "C" middle

1 great reliever, 4 good relievers - "A" closer, "B" and "D" short, "C" and "E" middle

The best player at each spot will get used most of the time if they are rested. To get the most innings out of "A" & "B", you don't want them with the same assignment.

The computer will also take into account lefty/righty, etc., but for road games, I'll classify my 650/650 OPS guy as being better than a guy with .575/.700 OPS split because you should assume you won't get favorable matchups on the road.
