I don't think Rowand will be anything special. Gobble is a good prospect... sometimes those pan out other times they don't

You could argue that Rowand and Gobble for Percival is a push... although I would prefere Gobble.

So as I see it the deal comes down to the question of Edmonds and Burrell for Pedro. If Burrell ever lives up to his reputation then you'll regret it. But then again Burrell has really only had about one good year in four so far..... so its hard to say for sure.

Edmonds is a stud, but so is Pedro.

Without knowing who replaces Edmonds in the middle of the order... and who were the other options in the rotation... its hard to say. My guess is that if you win this year you'll be happy... but if you don't you just mortgaged some future (Gobble / Burrell) for a deal that doesn't work out.
