The obvious choices will go to the teams with the poor records, but those are not always the best choices. Plenty of great players had poor opening seasons. In MLB-the amateur draft is inverse order and the Braves and Yankees manage to get good players---sometimes in the later rounds. The fact is that in RT, a season can go to the dogs quickly and we have to give those teams that are losing a way to right the ship. Also, comparing RT leagues to some other league isn't valid---was it really anything like REAL TIME?
