If I know I don't have a (third?) catcher on my team and only poor catchers are available later in the FA draft, but some players whose potential I like...

I can either play it straight up and have a string of catchers at the start of my list with drops so that I only get one catcher but am assured of getting a catcher...or I can try to draft the player I really want and rely on being given an INN player for my catcher after the draft.

It's just the "appearance" of someone manipulating the rules to gain an advantage.

Probably some guys do it. In the case cited below it is pretty apparent that the reason a catcher wasn't drafted was time conflicts in getting to the internet at the right time to make changes. My guess is most of us have had the same problem, I know my rookie draft list died at round 2 and I had no opportunity to adjust it so I can sympathize.

I don't see a solution and would hate to be penalized beyond lousy draft picks just because I couldn't get on the internet the night of the draft.
