You're right. It really wasn't like RT, but the monthly draft is the same principle. The ML draft is in inverse order, but it is once a year so the best team can draft the 30th best player. With a monthly draft the top 20 or so players are gone before the top teams draft every month so they might not even get the 100th best player available.
I'm not going to be upset if this is instituted. This is a great game and I love it. I guess it would just make it more of a challenge for the top teams to try and stay on top. I don't believe there will be any dynasties under this rule, but maybe that's best for the overall health of the game.
