The 3rd overall pick ion the Rookie draft ( turns out to be Kaz Matsui) for the ninth , rd 1, and 2 second rd'ers enidng up with r Madsen, E Gonzales, and J Dominguez.

This was an unmanaged trade. It looked short prior to the draft to me. Now it looks worse. Anybody?
