too strong
I just wanted to get his attention because I thought it wasn't clear that the real problem is not the PB rating of a player, but whether or not the player had at least 1 chance. A player with 0 chances is absurdly attrocious. I wanted to use a title that would hopefully grab attention.
I did not think that was well explained in the other posts, although it was mentioned that few or no chances caused bad results at the corners (zero chances at ANY position give bad results but even 1 chance and the stats will be more realistic).
I apologize to anyone who was offended.
I don't think you are correct about the 0.1 being a .750 fielding percentage. It is my understanding (assumption?) that the PB ratings are not actually used in the game but rather a players actual stats. If a player with a 0.1 rating does have chances, I wouldn't be afraid to try using him at that position.
I have no idea where you got the .750 fielding percent. I repeat - I DO NOT think you are correct.
As an example, look at Rafael Furcal in TRAD. In D5 for the Malaga Cove Pirates in .....
He has a 0.1 fielding grade at SS but his actual fielding percentage for the season was .959.
In D5 for the Malaga Cove Pirates his actual fielding pct so far in 219 PB TRAD innings is .948. I would play Rafael Furcal at SS.
