Backing out

In 1860, the union was divide as Southern states seceded over rights to slavery. Their arguement: "It's always been that way, therefore it's right." While the issue is decidedly different here, the arguement, "we do it that way because we've always done it that way", and not because it's right- is not.

As far as allowing 'newbies' a second roll of the dice, no problem. But that implies limitations, and it also invites logistical problems.

I am a firm believer in, "Caveat Emptor". While this may seem an open door to the sharks, it is my understanding that all trades already go through the commishioners office; anyone with 'newbie' status could have trades rejected by the benevolent one( AKA: the commishioner) prior to them being passed on.

I am particularly miffed at this last trade undoing, because I gave the other owner exactly what he asked for, limited my bid on another player because of it, and lost both as they we're exchanged (post approval!) for one-another!

It's a bad policy. Doing it forever doesn't make it a good one.
