Poor Sportsmanship
I agree that as a policy, it should not be continued. If two teams agree to a deal and send it to the commish, it should stand (unless one of the managers accidently offered a guy with a similar name as the one intended such as Pedro Martinez instead of Tino) but at the same time this is a sportsmanship issue since the rules currently allow it. To me, it's no different than the owners who would purposely not draft a catcher in the Free Agent draft and take prospects instead so that one will be given to them later (at no charge). To me, that's equivalent poor sportsmanship but you, T Hart, have stated that you see nothing wrong with that practice because the rules allow for it. So there you go.
