I fully agree with Ralphie's comment if the INN. player is needed early in the season. I don't agree if the season is winding down and somebody gets caught unawares.
If a rule were implemented, they could still be asked to cut a player, but I only think the First Round Pick should need to be cut before game 120 or 140.
At times a team is caught by the way the game applies injury dates, for example.
