Its possible his saved lineup vs RHP glitched - I once had the game start players all out of position (at home) due to moving the batting order around and then submitting the lineup to start the game without clicking the reorder/position button first - I believe this is the possible (but not assured) outcome of failing to reorder your lineup before you save the lineup - the designated positions can get confused.
