Probably more than anything else in the game. So would be disappointed to see them go away. Tanking does seem to be a persistent issue though. The thing is -- blatant tanking is unecessary. There is a team in one of my RT leagues that only has 7 or 8 pitchers. He can start his best lineup and play perfectly, but his record will stink as usage problems kill him in every series. This to me is a subtler version of tanking. The team cannot win as currently set up. I am sure he could have taken pitchers in the free agent draft that would have given him a better chance but why do it if it costs you draft picks to rebuild. I think part of the problem is the folks who have multiple teams for the flat founders fee are more willing to have a lousy team play out the season with no real effort to compete and amass picks.
