It sounds like the team you just played wasn't set up properly, so the computer completely messed it up. I'd look at the team, note player status, catchers, etc., and send a note if this team needs help.

Actually in real baseball poor teams beat good teams all the time in a 3 or 4 games series. Thats what makes baseball fun. You can be a Royals fan, and see them take 2 of 3 from the Yankees.
