I don't think any more "amazing occurrances" happen in PB than happen in MLB. For instance, I watched two Braves games on TBS this weekend. In one I saw Eddie Perez enter the game with a .231 batting average, and proceed to go 4-4. In the other, I saw Joey Hamilton enter the game with an ERA of almost 9, and pretty much shut the Braves down for 7 1/3 innings. Baseball is the most unpredictable sport there is. That's one reason I love it.
