I feel the same way Steve does. I cant see someone losing purposely to get a beter pick, and if he does he really is hurting himself. If one rookie was going to make a difference they wouldnt have such a high pick. Their team probaly is rebuilding to some degree and tyhier is no guarentee who you pick will pan out.I have teams that are doing horrible and as a GM I offered up Giambi and Thome, but I didnt feel I was getting any good young prospects in return that would help me. These are the parts of the game that make it fun, trading, wheeling, looking for a good sleeper. Taking a chance on on a trade. This is the reality of a GM. What can I do to better my club by Trading, dropping players, drafting today.
How bad is this tanking/ shedding that we would even consider not drafting like we do now? Everybody complains when the draft is off a day or two.
