If I sign my name then it would be easy for someone to look at my teams and then figure out which team offered the trade. Out of respect for the other owner I did not want to make it easy for people to figure out what trade offers he is making in a specific league.

I felt protecting the identity of the other owner was a justification for not signing my name.

In addition, my post was not intended as a "whine." I wanted to get feedback from others regarding the fairness of the trade. I have an opinion, but I recognize that other people may have other opinions which is why I tried to solicit opinions.
