I just got on here to start a topic and this exact subject and here you just started one. Scary!

Anyhow, perfect example right here. In my league last week I was on the road and in the first game of the series it was tied 2-2 going into the bottom of the 8th. The stupid computer brought in my closer, Gagne. First of all, WHY IS MY CLOSER COMING IN IN THE BOTTOM OF THE 8TH??? 2nd problem, why is my closer pitching 3 and 1/3 innings and facing 12 batters when his BFA is only 10.

Of course he didn't even give up a hit cuz he's Gagne, but I did end up losing in the 12th. But he's pretty much usless the next 2 games when I might need him.(in this case the next two games were blowouts, but that's not the point)

I love this game and I know it has it faults, but this is just very irritating to me because it's very unrealistic. Nobody's gonna bring in Gagne in the 9th, esspecially considering I have some VERY good setup guys, Quantrill and Cormier to name some. EVEN if they do bring him in, NO WAY he pitches more then the 8th and 9th innings.

Anyway, that's my rant and hopefully something can be done about this in the future(i won't hold my breath). I think Ken's idea about being able to set a limit on how many innings(or BF I think would be better) a pitcher is allowed is a great idea.
