I had the same problem.  When I clicked on my schedule, I got the "you have already submitted a lineup" message, but it still locked up and would not play the game.  I messaged the commish, but it was corrected by the next day.  
The game play server had either needed rebooted, or something like that.  Oh well...it has happened before, but rare.
