G4 to Anthony
Anthony while I agree low rook 1 can be worthless sometimes they can turn into very nice players and with 2 rook 1's the new manager could trade up in round 1 and get a very good young player to build around. Low FA 1's can be worthless , but I got Westbrook as a FA 3 or 4 in lots of leagues last year so FA picks can be valuable if you get lucky. Percival and all the other old guys you Mike got rid of for a rebuilding team are worthless in that situation. Here's the problem with unmanged teams. Mike only has 1 offer to look at (at a time) and he has to determine whether the deal will make a team more sellible. If I had the that team I would have tried to make a lot of smaller deals that hopefully would have netted me more. Mike does not have that option. Anthony I'll just ask this question would you rather take over a team with a lot of draft picks where you can choose the players you want too build your team around, or, a bunch of old players who are at the tail end of there careers. I will say this to both you and Frank did that deal help the compettitvive balance of the League? NO!!! Did it make the team more attractive to a future owner, I think yes. Anthony as always the best of luck. Joey
