You say reprogramming for postions played would be to much of an effort. Well each player is programmed with the 15% rule for at bats and innings pitched. Then if you guys that disagree with me on ARod playing SS and other players, then lets end the 15% rule. Several managers want to make this realistic, then why allow a guy like Kearns, rookie year, get an extra 58 or 60 at bats. He's allowed to play in say 15 more games. I had him and he hit .364 for me. is that fair to opposing team to give players extra at bats. Same with Pandy Johnson and Pedro Martinez. They picth 200 innings in real life but they get 30 extra innings here. Not fair. So if we allow that, why not allow the same leaniency when it comes to fielding. But iit is just the opposite with that. You get penalized big time for playing someone like Arod at SS.
